I checked with Switch, those purchased the phone thru Lazada / Shopee, will not get 2nd year warranty with RM49. You better double check. with them. They said Sure Coverage only entitled for those walk in and Switch Online website.

They asked me refer to this.
https://shop.switch.com.my/smart-protection-plan

I asked Switch Lazada store. They say can add. Contact through chat.
I just walked out of Switch paradigm. Also say can add Sure Warranty, bring phone and receipt.

I am using Maxis. Does anyone knows if we can transfer e-SIM from older iPhone to the 14 without having to generate new e-SIM from Maxis?

while waiting for this friday, figured i will shop for the accessories first hehe..

first time using iphone since iphone 6. any recommendations for accessories to get? want to make use of the magsafe so thinking if i should get:

- magsafe charger? is it worth getting this despite the slow charging speed? don't mind third party brand also. i mostly charge while gaming so need something that's comfortable and also charge relatively fast enough
- magsafe powerbank? idea sounds nice but idk how slow charging will be. and will i be able to game with it on the go?
- magsafe wallet. looking for something that can fit more than 3 cards.

any recommendations will be much appreciated!

nice. im upgrade from 5s. brows.gif

i recommend buying case with magsafe. magsafe charger is optional. last time i bought wireless charger for samsung but ended up using cable due to limited time at home.

it depend, if u stay at home most of the time, magsafe charger might come in handy. same as powerbank, if u always travel or work outside powerbank is a must at least have 1 unit for backup.

Nope. You have to go back to Maxis centre to get it done. They would have to send a new e-sim to your phone.

i use a magsafe powerbank. I find it really convenient. Just snap on and charge. No need for any cables.

The issue is with Maxis. iOS supports the function of transferring cellular plan to new phone but it mentions 'your courier does not support this'.

i always get Hoda @ RM 69, it lasts me throughout the year, no scratches, no dents etc... but my usage is minimal..oleophobic coating is good and can feel the coat even after a year...cheap and affordable, if break it by accident, change another one only at 69 biggrin.gif

Can add the charger for Rm1 if we purchased direct from them? I understand that the Rm1 charger is a shopee initiative. tongue.gif

Couldn't agree more. Hoda is thumbup.gif . Most important price is reasonable. Been using on my Iphones all these while.

But I believe it only happens if you use third party camera apps right? There are no issues with the stock camera app.

Had the same question ... called up Maxis and confirmed that if you change phone, you have to step into Maxis Center to get a new e-SIM ... silly implementation since the iPhone have the ability to transfer e-sim from one iPhone to another iPhone ....

If you go to Maxis Center to get your e-sim... it is free. But if you go to Maxis VAR ... then it's chargeable.

so now ... have to wait for phone to arrive through delivery from Maxis... then end up still have to step into Maxis to get the e-Sim
