some friends who ordered from Switch as well told me they get ZP/A, some get the one end with FP... and notice those purchase from machines and IT world all ends with only A, not FP lol... made me wonder whats this FP mean lol

Yea most people also ZP/A, mine is under fulfillment, maybe that's why FP? lol but I received email confirmation self collection 23sep tho

just clarified at Switch, fulfillment is just another saying that we will be getting on the 23rd sep, basically no specific meaning, as long as your order info shows self collection on 23 sep at specific timing, then you can proceed as it is.

as for SURE extended warranty, its rm249 which we can add on during collection, the rm49 as shown on the website is a different loyalty membership, not the same as the one in their system.. I'll pass the rm249 additional 1 year, don't think its necessary, coz their coverage has alot of T&C i.e max coverage is only rm2000 etc etc etc... I think the 1 year manufacturer warranty is good enough..

I wanted too bro, but guess what? I picked the wrong variant, 128gb instead of 256.. and u know moment u click the wrong one means bye bye boat XD received the email for 128gb, eye sore to see it lol..

But I think it's OK since I got one from Switch... my friend bought the shield protection from IT world last year for his 13 PM and the claim was a mess, too many T&C and when shit really happens and come to claiming stage, they have all sort of reasons to reject... finally asking him to top up 2.4k etc etc...i csnt rmemebr the details but he paid for nothing finally... I mean after all its IT world so don't put too high hopes in them.. I think those offer foc 2nd year warranty extension have alot of hidden T&C, like senheng too lol... but its free so anything free is good

No the order status changed to failed coz I didn't pay for it.. only paid order is considered confirmed... xD

right after that I went to other sites but all sold out, suddenly switch restock and I manage to grab one, so all is good

Haha yea I waited till around 12.35 then lucky me switch restock, but they call it fulfillment batch... right after I checkout I check its out of stock again lmao... skeptical me actually went to switch to clarify what's fulfillment, which they say its just another name for batch 1 collection sep23 lol..

no retailers are allowed to release the phones before 12am sep 23..but I'm sure there is a way to collect it at 12 am since they open it as an option... afaik the mall is open until late, I was there 11.15pm the other day and the doors were open (link from mrt to the stairs besides Travelling Duck/ Taco Bell, but it was literally dark all the way to Dunkin Donuts/Centre Court), not sure about 12am...maybe Switch and IT world made special arrangement with the mall management to allow certain path to open on that day.. best to check with Switch via fb..

Maybe last min consensus kick in and realise it was an impulse decision

Yes u can collect it later, since you have already paid full for it, the unit is literally yours. There is a device model number locked to your purchase (the M____ZP/A) so they can’t just give it to others..

I went to switch earlier and asked about the pre order status, they only have pre orders for next batch which will likely arrive 3 weeks after sep23..all stocks for sep23 sapu habis, and they said they won’t even have any available for walk ins on launch day, they are expecting the same for all the outlets and potentially all retailers within the country..

EDIT: if you mean offer as in promotion, I think they have no promo at all..senheng and IT world offers Year 2 extension foc…others I think not much.. machines I think rm100 voucher

I would prioritize those who offer foc year 2 extension, but since all sold out, my second tier would be Switch, I don’t think the year 2 warranty is essential, especially it only covers manufacturer defects, so far from my experience..if there’s a defect on an iPhone , I would have detected them within first week of use..never had any issues that come after a month or year of use (on a MacBook yes coz of MOBO issues)

Plus I had good buying experience with switch over the years..happy with their services etc

The SURE warranty extension is rm49 only if you use your points to convert…without points it’s rm249 for 14 PM..clarified with them at the outlet this afternoon

Retailers and resellers like machines/Switch/IT world and etc have their own protection plan, but only if u buy the device from them, and it needs to be purchased on the spot during collection, at the store..

never liked the current 13 PM under sunlight too, so no diff lol

if you want to have sweet time unboxing at home, u should have opted to buy from apple website, so you get 14 days of exchange under their refund policy... buying from resellers in malaysia, anything wrong with the phone right after you step out of the shop is considered sending in for repair, no more 1:1 exchange (I remember last year got cases machines even open at their outlet and straight off declined 1:1 exchange for dead pixel units, they insisted to to send for service), but at most cases if you see anything wrong with the unit, there will be 1:1 especially the phone is still new...
