Bloody hell. Some of these guys do not belong in a chelsea shirt and the worst part is potter doesn't have the balls to make changes sooner, in order to send a message that they're all replaceable.

What was that like 0 shots on target in the second half? Havertz again manages to finesse his way to 90 minutes without really doing anything. You'd think with news filtering through about spurs dropping points they'd be fired up to go all out against forest, but no.. played the majority of that second half like we were up by 7 goals.

Not sure what potter's ideas were behind the subs either, we genuinely looked worse after the changes, and seemed more like a 'throw them on and hope for the best' kind of move. Everyone was genuinely horrible and clueless, bar maybe silva and pulisic.

this... issues since sarri?
before tuchel sacked, we already cant hold ball and cope with opponents' pressure...
coach problem? more like players problem

The truth is definitely somewhere in between, my main issue with potter now is he remains undecided on kicking the rebuild into full gear. There's clear proof that the seniors have been the main culprit for our awful and erratic form for some time, but he's refused to rely more on players like lewis hall, carney, and hutchinson.

Previously there were hints he was gonna blood them, but now he's reverted back to the usual reliance on senior players, which is disappointing. In addition to getting a 'mini preseason' with the world cup break which lasted more than a month, you'd think he'd have a good idea of how to utilise these guys, with better patterns of play at the very LEAST.

I was looking forward to more minutes for our young talents, but what we got instead was a downright shocking performance from the usual suspects, much worse than the beginning of potter's reign. Some players genuinely look like they're not buying into his philosophy and that's bad news for him imo. In the beginning they were all pressing in unison and showing fight, but alarmingly many of them now look content with jogging around the pitch.

If potter continues to turn a blind eye to this, he won't last long imo. The players are now doing to potter what they did to tuchel, at an accelerated rate. I can only hope he sees this sooner rather than later, but he's certainly not helping himself atm.

Tuchel was revamping squad with his players, even if it was shaky at first, I think tuchel would've figured it out

but boehly fired our best manager and replaced with an inexperienced yes man

brighton is really potter's level, no need chase top 4, midtable also jadi already

next season also don't hope for good season, potter gonna have trouble figuring out how to make use of nkunku, badiashile, santos etc

Under tuchel, cucu, k2, sterling, kova all perform when others are bang average

Under potter hmm, super obvious players don't believe in the process anymore

tbh, if I am a current 1st team and see so many big names coming in -

#1. Get Good, so I don't get my spot taken

OR

#2. Wingardiuum..Leave-Chelsea-osa! Why bother putting in the effort when the club has already brought in my replacement, just sit back - get whatever minutes I can, pocket my free meals and before you know it - Barcelona here I come! icon_idea.gif

We can tell from the recent game, the mood is favoring #2 atm laugh.gif

Even if we get Enzo (maybe Rice) and Nkunku (next season), is GP the right guy to lead us?

In my mind I keep telling myself, look at Arteta, but being so used to Chelsea's hire and fire ways, we are so used to get some immediate (not necessarily long lasting) positive effects. He just sits there with that look and not reacting.

While I chuckled at Liverpool losing to Brentford, I just realised with the win, Brentford leapfrogged over us on the table. Gonna be so unlikely to finish Top 4 unless our injured players come back and performing on all cylinders and other teams start their own plague of injuries.

Even at brighton also potter liddis la, no reaction one, win means okay, lose means nevermind... is like watching paint dry. Don't think the brighton success story is 100% his work also, everyone thought brighton will fall apart after potter left, but no, they're doing much better than when he was there

Thing is can potter coach big players or not? Back in brighton he coached nobodies who were willing to listen to his ideas. Nkunku, enzo, plus our current players that have won ucl who will think they know better.. that's a lot of star power and egos he have to deal with

From the get go, can already see potter isn't the right fit for us, but boehly knows better right? innocent.gif
If manager also tak apa attitude, you expect the players to suddenly have a must-win attitude? hmm.gif

Arteta, scaloni are young, unproven managers but the circumstances are different. Arsenal and Argentina were at their lowest low before they had enough and went on do-or-die mission to turn things around. You can see their passion and desire, always want to win win win.

After years of winning, Chelsea now have problems of complacency, might take few years before we turn into the next league bottlejobs and new owners are just accelerating this trend
