Welcome badiashile!!!!
Can't sort out the attack, we sort out the defense first. Both are equally rubbish these days so I'm happy with this 😂

Watched a recording of the game without checking out the results, and was pleasantly surprised. Didn't get on my nerves as much as I thought it would
Everyone saw the negatives so I'll focus on what I liked:- Extended minutes for chuk, omari and zakaria. Chuk and zakaria in particular can hold their heads up high as they gave everything and tried to make things happen. Chuk hit the post with a really smart attempt and zakaria was his usual self, constantly looking for a forward pass although his dribbles did get us into trouble a couple of times when they didn't come off, the ones that did were pretty fantastic..The former also managed a pinpoint cross to havertz who took a poor touch (becoming a common theme now) and inadvertently laid it off to silva for a shot. Had he brought it down properly, he would've had a clear attempt on goal. Hall looked really bright down that left when he came on, and would be extremely disappointed he didn't get that last shot on target or roll it to connor to smash home. Omari looked a bit nervous, but I LOVE the fact that potter hooked auba who was pretty ineffectual even as a sub, to bring the former on. Overall a much2 better performance compared to Forest. With badiashile, santos and datro fofana all arriving, here's hoping we see all of them soon. |

QUOTE(gaeria84 @ Jan 9 2023, 01:11 AM) This is on potter la, potter plays him week in week out despite shit performances Potter has no choice, so I put havertz's rubbishness about 900% more than potter, can't even control simple passes, difficult passes, any type of bloody pass into the box, around the box or even in front of the box. Truly sampah sarap. Would rather see fofana for the rest of the season.Nak marah tapi kena sabar |

Wouldn't mind jorgi and havertz both getting the hell off the field at HT. Both should be ashamed of themselves, especially havertz. Rubbish rubbish rubbish.

Fofana on!!!!!!! Hell yes!!!!!! At least potter has some balls. Havertz practically cost us the game, singlehandedly. Quite an impressive feat from the silky german.

Welcome joao felix!!
Completely agree on the previous discussion about safe passes, our confidence is in the gutter atm and players seem determined to turn back into midfield / defense 99% of the time just so we don't lose possession. Earlier in potter's reign you could see we were trying quicker penetrative passes through the middle, but after that winning run ended it's all gone to hell now. Injury problems haven't helped but the coach has to take some of the blame as well , as he hasn't managed to beat that bad habit out of them. However, the issue goes all the way back to tuchel's final few months, and I'm beginning to accept that sometimes you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Bring on carney. Bring on zakaria (who's been one of our best players recently). Bring on fofana. Bring on felix. Give these players who show more endeavour and attacking effort to prove themselves even further, so some of these senior players get a swift kick in their ego nuts. |

All I want to say is I'm gonna miss Felix being banned for the next three, because he was our best player by a country mile. Koulibaly made a horrendous pass and put him in that position in the first place so he takes half of the blame. I'm starting to lose faith in the lad, I know it's his first season but damn I wish we had colwill now. Kouli looks so out of his depth, he's totally unrecognisable from his days at napoli. If I hadn't heard of him and you told me we got some huge CB on a free transfer from the nearby pub league, I would've believed you.
Combined with chalobah, it really looked like dumb and dumber out there. They were that bad. Better game for Kai, but he should've put that chance away when Felix laid it on a plate in the second minute. Hall's follow up shot was also pathetic, as was his attempt to dribble out from defense that lead to willian's deflected goal. Kepa made a mess of the second one, but the marking from chalobah was also non-existent. Better chance creation overall but the usual 'suspect' messed it up. Kai had a great chance late on as well, but barely tested the keeper. Didn't bat an eyelid as he ran through on goal because I knew nothing was going to come of it Zakaria injured. Felix unavailable for 3 games with palace and liverpool up next. All of you guys who've kept on watching our games in full will always have my respect. We may have differing opinions, but the best way to judge the team and management's progress is through what gets put out on that pitch for 90 minutes. In the end we all want what's best for chelsea. So strap on because this is gonna hurt even further Note: There were seriously shades of hazard from Felix's debut, bar the sending off 😂 |

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ Jan 13 2023, 03:33 PM) Prime hazard bro, someone could compile all of Felix's classy touches and dribbles for the whole 59 minutes and he'd look better then all our attackers combined this season. It's a reflection of how terrible we've been but also a sign of his class and talent. Next we just need to find out if atletico are interested in a swap deal for a certain unreliable german 😏. We'd be fools not to float the idea. Felix and nkunku next season would be electric. Don't need another false 9 stinking up the place. |
