Sorry cant agree on GALLAGHER, he basically doing nothing, he does not provide enuff movement on the pitch, slow in providing passing option and when he receive the ball he just cycle the pass like a JORGINHO. He was suppose to be the front 3 playing near the opponent box but he sit closer to mid playing like KOVA RLC role cycling passes, no penetration run behind defender. I would say he not ready to be starting 11, he need more time to familiar with the formation with the role he suppose to play.

The different is clear when CHIWELL, MOUNT, KAI came in, because they start making those off the ball run. Like pressing, those off the ball movement need to be done by multiple player together to be effective.

Being notice that for quite some time now. We are damn slow like playing chess, waiting all opposition players get into the position to defend. Donno is under tuchel order not to lose ball possession due to transition from defending to attacking. Maybe too scare of counter attacking by opposition if lost the ball possession and our aging defenders backline can't catchup.

they just lack of vision and imagination 

there is no point maintaining a lot possession but don't have players ability to unlock those tight defending.
I get it that Tuchel are somewhat like Mourinho but with key different is more possession for tuchel, Mourinho are more on counterattacking.
Both of them are obsess with tight control of the game with target of not losing the matches thru tight defending, not allowing opposition scoring chances.

But with that mindset, most of other managers already somewhat know what to expected and counter our tactically.
The last 2 games already saw what is happening but luckily Tuchel managed fight a comeback win.
He can't be so lucky so many times..   
I always maintaining/favouring calculative risk to open up the play to grab 3 points than defending for 1 point draw.
Regarding about we don't have the players to do that is very subjective, at least in my opinion lar.

To be honest, me really can't see us in the fighting for top 2 this season. Top 4 already a big fight us now
If Spur, Ars & MU getting their act right this season, we are in trouble.
