Club did not want to spend. ETH had spoken out in the media of the need to invest but without result from the club. ETH then threw the first 2 games of the season by playing the majority of last season's players. The resultant backlash and media pressure from the fans forced the club into a last minute shopping spree for new players.
Managerial genius.
Indeed. You might be right, especially after he has been told to lower down his expectations by the management. It's like him saying, "How low do you want me to go with the squad we have? Bottom of the league low, OK👌🏼."
So, Antony not worth 100m. [Fill in the blank] is better than him.
The point is not about if Antony is worth 100m or whether he is better than [fill in the blank], it is what ETH want. And he knows Antony better than any other players mentioned.
And ofcoz FDJ.

If in our build up, it is still Eriksen that drops deepest to pick up the ball instead of Casemiro, then we really need FDJ larh.
That would be funny bcoz Casemiro is a DM through and through. As mentioned by alot Casemiro sits at the back of triple axis of Kroos and Modric in RM. Since Casemiro is not FDJ, best play is to intercept and pass to Bruno/Eriksen quick.
Still good to ponder also, if we lose to Soton, even without Maguire+Shaw+McFred... would the fan go for ETH's head for bad tactics? Or Glazers for not buying the players he wants?
Standby for antony brings the ball to Antony and makes a cross that Antony fails to connect to. Antony gets the loose ball and crosses low to antony again.
Main difference is one without "h", another one with "h". A Brazillian Antony and a French Anthony.
This started by the EPL and English FA to prioritize more on their own home-grown players with required quota for every teams.
When this happened, these teams can't just get decent home-grown players, they need good & better players. And that ballooned up the prices for the players mentioned (Rice, Philips, Grealish, etc).
It was a good game for ETH to see the other players to play again, apart from the winning starting 11. We lose, but hopefully enough lessons learned for the next game. Anyway, it should be 0-0.
Everyone is bashing Antony, but even when Sancho came in, nothing changed. It's just a bad day for RW + not so effective RWB (Dalot, Lindelof).
Casemiro was ok. His partner was all over the place (Fred, Fernandes), especially when Eriksen came off.
It's my dream to see Garnacho playing more minutes than just the last 5-10 minutes. He did very well with the limited time compared to Elanga.
And McNeil, never heard of him, wonder why he played compared to other youngsters.

Everyone just shut down in this game. Holiday so long.
Lesson learned for MU, just park the bus from the start like a normal mid-table team. Don't be so perasan like title contender. Then, no more 4-0, 6-3.
