Been looking at various century (100km) routes around KL.
Most people ride to Port Dickson, Sekinchan.
How difficult it ia to attempt Fraser's hill?
I know it is no longer legal to ride up genting for many years, is it steeper than Genting?

Kuala Klawang is an easier and safer ride.

Frasers doesn’t have any major steep gradients except the point from KKB (after JKR) to Kg Pertak (near the dam)

After that stretch which is around 15km long the remainder isn’t steep.

To put it in perspective, I have a Morris Minor that I often drive with the top down on this road.

That stretch I would need to use 1st or 2nd gear but rest of journey 2nd or 3rd gear.

When going Genting, this car would need 1st gear only at that hairpin turn.

The roads are slippery especially during raining and road covered with the wet leaves.

Thanks for the suggestion, been riding to Klang, circumnavigate Penang.
Port Dickson, Sekinchan didn't offer much of a step up in challenge but this route seemed ideal.

Need to be careful if you want to take this challenge.

The road has a lot of stretches that has a thin layer of moss and lots of dried leafs.

Try not to solo cycle as visibility is very poor on this road and many of the bends are blind bends. Once past 1pm many parts of it no longer has visible sunlight.
