i wanna get cause my mom's TNG card expired
the TNG function in her mykad also expired.

i dunno why TNG function in mykad will expire.. takkan every 10 years i go change new mykad ka?

it doe expire. mine was. I went to take the lot the other day and it got denied and I asked the guy behind the counter and he said its expired
sounds stupid af but I was using my ic as a backup tngo for when I do take the lrt but it expired and there goes my rm30 in it

there were some thread back in 2020 that talked about this too.

IC tng also hav expiry date.
when u add in ur ewallet, u can see the expiry date.

i took it to bangsar south tng hub
they tell me,
your card expire, please scan this qr for e-refund
tng card out of stock

then there got machine to topup, i check the status of the mykad, expired.

Mine says 2028

but i went to TnG hub Nu sentral just now, seems like also long term no stock.

they even made a special sign that says NFC tng no stock.
& tape out the ticket machine for TNG nfc option.

my trip to bangsar was last week friday.

i did ask them, they just give me a very bored answer, no stock. come again next week tuesday onwards. i not so free everyday go there try my luck.. tuesday also not whole day got stock.. i believe very fast will kena sapu finish

that's what i thought so too.. at least keep stock of the non-nfc tng card, so that those expired can purchase those instead

idaf about the NFC features. i just want a normal TNG card, but they say sold out. old card no longer for sale
all watson also stop selling d, they say TNG got new card, watson also got new card (without TNG). macam bad divorce

only option now is to wait, or go every petrol station and try luck.

dunno how the f does TNG plan things.. so fast discontinue old card when dun even have a steady supply of TNG cards, then go and monopolize all tolls.
tolls only accept RFID, Smart tag (TNG), and TNG cards
basically all 3 also need tng (except rfid, which partially mom can still use cause is tied to my sis account)
but RFID is another whole new issue to rant about..

i dunno what problem other drivers having, but they seems like always stuck at rfid lane.. if i enter using rfid lane, i gotta exit through rfid lane.
and rfid lane always have issue for drivers, so always long queue.

I am currently using a TNG Zing card, auto reload when the balance is below RM50 thus do I still need this new card?

Any idea go where to replace expired TnG card? Thanks
