I have a conceal fiber line to the house but unfortunate the 1 meter fiber line which is expose to outdoor become brittle but i have no choice but to save this line else I will need to pull a new line.
The picture show the fiber box, you can see the fiber core in blue already expose and a few fracture along the line.
I was thinking of using a water proof duct tape to wrap the line.
Can you suggest any other way?

Exposed fiber is ok, just changed to a good waterproof box to protect it.

Did you check the reading at this 2 joints for comparisons?

there are some noise after the 2 joint but the most noise was incur by the conceal wire and i suspect the expose fiber core contributed the most!

the reading from TM, 1st joint, is 20, and after the 2nd joint, 22, both of this is before the brittle fiber. Inside my house is 35+.

30 above is bad. If aesthetic is an issue see if any local installer carry this invisible fiber.

I was thinking of just using either electrical wire tape or just sellotape to wrap around the brittle cable to prevent further damage, do you think it will do the trick?
