btw did you guys have any issues with RFID on some tolls? I kena at Plaza Toll Puchong Selatan:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/8Q1xoC1H3y8JAGvU6

Going from Bandar Puteri -> Cyberjaya RFID ok
From Cyberjaya to Bandar Puteri (hit same toll) - NOT OK - error shown is tag tak sah or something like that...kena twice already...I try sunway toll last week - OK...

any idea why or any way to fix?

RFID is memang stupid. Dont need waste time on it. I dont even bother to activate and bind the RFID to my tng account.

I use back my old smart tag. I wish Alza had the toll reader just like in MG3.
That MG3 toll reader is so bloody good and convenient. Way better than smart tag itself..

I've used the RFID frequently on my previous Saga, on my Alza, on my Subaru, very little problem (headlight mount on Saga and Subaru, Alza is from Perodua mounted on windshield).

Likely is the toll gate mounting itself. If you know its problematic, go slower.

i went quite slow actually and retried same problem..i went like 10km per hour if not mistaken...i sent feedback to TNG they ask me to try the same toll but go closer to the right wor...wonder if that's where the sensor is..hmm

My observation from testing out RFID since the start is that different toll will mount different side, so it is not something can predict ahead of time. Reverse-Forward-Insyallah-Dapat

LOL noted on that guys. will consider trying. now on my way back from work I went to the 2nd left most lane (tng + big lorries + RFID) - that one works perfectly. I might try again next time the middle lane one that didnt work previously by going closer to the right side of the lane and see if it works..if not i'll just give up on that lane haha

Does installing engine bottom cover and rear anti crash bar void the warranty?

engine cover no.. rear anti crash bar if dont touch/modify any of the existing setup (i.e. its just an add-on) then no also.

anyone tried playing around with pressing brake at different pressures (light VS firm) while eco idle is on to see if the eco idle shuts off the engine or not? read somewhere if dont press firmly (ex stop at toll booth) it wont stop the engine even with eco idle on.

yes, if light press and able to stop the car from moving.. usually it wont trigger auto start stop.. when press deeper then it will..

if you using the eco idle maybe this useful trick for you to better control when eco idle kicks in according to your wish.

but for me idgaf bout this, always turned it OFF. then when battery low detected by system, auto permanent off rclxms.gif Even change to new battery will still remain OFF.

LOL yeah i seem to notice that from few posts here that after change battery it goes off..which is a good thing. but agreed turning it OFF is best, i just have to remind myself to do so every time.

hi guys want to check with you - when you first bought your alza, does it ever appear on NCD checking sites like myeg, Fincrew (https://www.fincrew.my/en/ncd-checker.html) etc?

Mine doesnt show up and according to my SA (i'm on generalli insurance) its because i'm buying through perodua - total protect plus. Even the cover note is from perodua not from generalli, etc.

Is this normal? 1st time buying car with this inside, last time always able to check because never bought car that has this kind of service built-in (at least for 1st year).
