QUOTE(Aqidah @ Aug 8 2022, 10:13 AM) No its a Malaysian conglomerate company but has been strong for more than 50 years with subsidiaries in property, construction, medical, education etc. Yearly increment rate on good year is 7% but normally is around 5% (but this is from my subsidiaries view). UEM Builders, Ace Vector ?

It is scary because you are dealing with "unknown" environment. Once you get adapted to the new environment, it may not be a scary anymore. I think the worst will be on how to blend into the new working culture / office politics.
Office politics, anywhere you go, it is always there. It is going to test your ability to deal with different peoples.

QUOTE(Aqidah @ Aug 8 2022, 01:23 PM) I've tried put up with it for 4 years and its getting worse to the point its affecting my works. Hence.. The bye bye.. Ironically. My own Manager kind a accept my resignation but the Head HR call me in after few days and have a 'long' talk with me and try to persuade me to stay altho he's not pushy. Then i heard from him that other Managers complain that i resign (apparently i'm a favorite to them).Highly likely you are going to survive & blend well with the new environment if such is the case.
