its just acoustic + midi input

u can retrofit one on any acoustic piano, there are systems like that

hybrid pianos aren't cheap either, if u are in the market for one, means u have the budget

so why not get those high end digital pianos with wood action

Thanks.

Can you recommend 2 of the high end digital pianos? Acoustic like action is important.

The feel and sound cannot be 100% reproduced but the bulkiness, maintenance, etc are not in my favour.

actually i take back what i said

the nu1x is good, best of both world digital and acoustic

looks like its a true digital piano, but with acoustic action, so there would not be any tuning and such

my bad i was thinking about the yamaha silent piano

u should read the reviews and replies from pianoworld:

Many thanks.

That review was in 2019. Think NU1X has improved since then. Read that the loud note problem is now less of a problem (not that they have eliminated it).

Contrary to the reviewer, thought with headphones, NU1X sounds incredibly good. Guess one needs yamaha's special headphone.

ah i see, if you're satisfied with it then no need bother with what others think of it afterall you will be one playing

but personally

20k i would get a recond baby grand, hands down

its still a digital piano, electronics are bound to spoil in time, but not a well maintained acoustic

and the nu1x is a pretty high end model, finding a technician would be hard, not to mention its probably heavier than most digital pianos, so transporting for service would be an issue

also bear in mind that you might need dehumidifier for the nu1x even though its a digital, the innards made of wood might be susceptible to fungus growth in humid environment
