Asking a few question before I land myself a job in Singapore

1. Is it tiring to travel in/out Johor/Singapore daily via a bike ?
2. My initial plan is to stay in Nusajaya and travel via Tuas checkpoint to my potential workplace which is just 3km from Tuas border bridge so my total daily distance is actually just a mere 40km (20km to SG and 20km back to Johor)
3. Also how's the traffic for bikes going in and out the border during off 5am , 2pm & 10pm ? As i'm mainly will be working on shift.

I never went to SG via road so, I can't say anything about it but daily i ride around 140km per day to my work and i enjoyed it. I love riding bike. I don't really care about the traffic unless you going for really big bike but it's also depends on your experience and skill. I ride Sym TL500 btw.

Maybe I'm wrong. Last time the problem is time wasted for check in border. Have to be there as early 5am if not mistaken just to be cleared early.

I'm traveling around 40km sometimes 100km daily for work with a D400. And yes I enjoyed riding to work since 2 years ago when I got my licence

1) Yes. Tiring but worth it. Lot of people are travelling that wy.Make sure your bike is in perfect condition.

2) Traffic not very sure as I use the Causeway. But based on experience, 2pm and 10pm should not be as bad as the 5am traffice.

But, to tell you the truth, the traffic not as bad as pre covid days

3. 5am is usually begin of crowd heading into SG. 2pm and 10pm is quite safe both direction, except 10pm Friday night going out from SG.

2. 20km one way is ok. Still need around 1hour door-to-door. On a good day maybe 30mins.

1. Not considering having to turn off engine and push your bike through immigration, daily in out can be tiring but lucky it's only 20km one way.

Do check the current regulation number of hours to keep bike in the republic per day.
ICA been enforcing this quite strictly post CB lockdown open border.
Many are selling their Msia bikes to buy SG bike because of this.
