hello there, I am a resident of PJ and here are my experience of renewal of NRIC and Passport

NRIC - 1 hour +/- in UTC Datuk Keramat KL (beside LRT station) on a Sunday morning
- fees = RM10

Passport - 1 hour +/- in Imigresen Kelana Jaya on weekdays (appointment based MCO period)
- fees = RM200 for 5 years renewal, no other options

Please take note of the followings
- payment mode: cashless (credit card/debit card)
- wear dark collared shirt

Twenty passport office to open seven days a week to ease congestion, says Home Minister

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 20 Passport Issuing Offices, apart from the Urban Transformation Centres (UTC), will operate seven days a week starting Friday (Jan 27) in efforts to overcome congestion at Immigration counters, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
