i did online last week .
for photo just used my celfone and apps to get the right size.
reply came back with reject due to photo.

went to imm office , they took my photo and thumbprint s again .. very fast 10 mins all done .
and requested to come back in 1 hour for collection .

for walk in s the wait is longer cos need to wait another round to pay the fee s. at another counter.

in short .
best to apply online , dont worry about photo , cos can retake by the officer in 1 min.
look for imm office with less crowds.

i did check the imm office at my hometown in perak.
my cousin went early 730AM to get number .
8 AM they start give numbers . those late comers just walk in already can get number but for afternoon .
after you submit to officer they will say come back in 1 hour to collect.
if your home is nearby can just go back home or mall and come back anytime before closing time to collect.
not so stress i think .

i got mine returned/ cut last week .

after apply renew P online and paid . print the receipt .
wait 3 days . waitin for email not important
then go to the imm ofc get a number .
they will open your application and the officer will decide if he need to take photo , thumb prints . he will do it then .
the most 15- 20 mins at counter .
then he will inform you when to come back to collect your new passport.
Above was my experience.

if you are above 60 can just walk in .
but you will have longer wait time . cos you need to wait to pay the fees at another counter .

I worn a dark shirt that day .
but officer still ask me to use the jacket they provide.
