I have read the sticky about buying & have a few questions still.

According to the Buyers Guide above,

"Currently Xbox 360 Premium (Asian) is selling for around RM 1400 - RM 1500 (some shop even sell as low as RM 1300) and Xbox 360 Core (Asian) is selling for around RM 1200. 1) How accurate are the prices now for Premium, Core & Elite.

2) Im interested in getting a Xbox for the purpose of gaming online (GoW, Halo3). Which package (US/Asian) is suitable for me (Which console does the majority own?)?

3) Do Asian & US consoles connect to the same Xbox live, or are they mutually exclusive?

4) Any other advice for me?

2) majority owns Asian consoles. Correct me if im wrong. If ur in asia better get asian console la, coz the game is cheaper, and easier to find

3) yes they do connect to the same xbox live. You'll be able to play with ppl using US consoles

4) Get the asian console ! And buy original if u want to play online. You might get banned with a modded console

Thx i intend 2 buy original. How much would i need 2 spend approximately? RM2k with 1 game or something?

I just bought Elite version from sce - RM 1850(unmodded) + Halo 3 LE =RM 2K . Nice package. but sadly, the warranty only 6 mths(from sce)
. I personally think it's better to buy from Gamers Hideout as they are a valid retailer and their warranty comes from SIN. I yr from them, 2 years from MS. just in case ur console got 3ROD, they can send it to SIN (this is not a free advertisement)

if not modded y cannot claim at SG leh...
if the sticker still intact then still valid... as long as your console is meant for HK & SG market...

I think he probably means SCE will only help him send it to Singapore within the 6 months. After that, he has to claim it himself.

Does GH accept credit card payment?

if you want to get the premium, i'll say forget it. I just went today, and was told that only refurb set is available and they are out of stock even for refurb set (wanted to buy one last week, but not enough cash.. today wan go buy, pula no stock). ETA is next week wednesday.

If you want to get elite, den you're in luck, they do have stock for elite.

Great shop to buy from, even though might have to spend abit more.. but it's worth it. saves you alot on the headache later.

but hey even if its refurbish their being honest and the warranty is still 1 year from them and 3months 1to1

Er..I applied for it during Consoul..And I havent receive it yet..

yea, that's why i decided to go there today, intended to buy a refurb console.. but no stock. sad case.
