This industry is rather gray, that's some local MY company serving oversea gambling company, MY company only provide tech related support, its legal in Malaysia, but their customer might be illegal, like operating in China. So if China government complain to MY government or seeking for help, so at this situation it will be complicated.

Some (not all) of these local company still paying proper tax, submit your epf and employee tax, just like all other legal company out there, but u still risking a chance that u might get lokap. One of my friend working in this line, their company had been raid by police and they got caught into lokap for weeks. This is very gray area, if police really wanted to cari pasal, they could.

altho wfh is not my choice cz thought for nearer office compared to current location...deep down thoughts yeah the lokap would be the worst thing to happen..thx bro!

got headhunter called for job and attended the virtual interview, however I'm a bit hold back due to the company business is about online g*mbling...they are hiring for content writer & translator

attend the interview cz the headhunter said it involves the sector mentioned but they didn't know is a full business focus in that industry.
compared to current job, the pros below:
- 14AL, now only 12 days & earn by mth (no flexibility)
- have dental & vision claim
-nearer distance to commute, office in MV (current office in Puchong and I stay in cheras)
- claim for Internet,equipment due to wfh

cons:
- online g*mbling industry
- to market into msia segment
- more write up (current role, only plan and oversee because have teammate to settle write up and design)
