got headhunter called for job and attended the virtual interview, however I'm a bit hold back due to the company business is about online g*mbling...they are hiring for content writer & translator
attend the interview cz the headhunter said it involves the sector mentioned but they didn't know is a full business focus in that industry.
compared to current job, the pros below:
- 14AL, now only 12 days & earn by mth (no flexibility)
- have dental & vision claim
-nearer distance to commute, office in MV (current office in Puchong and I stay in cheras)
- claim for Internet,equipment due to wfh
cons:
- online g*mbling industry
- to market into msia segment
- more write up (current role, only plan and oversee because have teammate to settle write up and design)
Last time doing a similar job for part time but won't last long the life is sucks but is good since you have no time to use money unless you addicted to gambling
Happened on 30 year ago if can try to avoid or make sure you are safe to do so
Current era not sure how it's work
My time Gambling illegal industry either part time or full time as long you young enough 5 hour sleep
I'm the lucky one I guess boss provide a apartment with maid for cooking, laundry and etc not for sleep with you type don't think too much

My job scope is to go to the site install the gambling software and adjust the percentage winning ratio according the the owner request and troubleshooting either client side or physical shop and basically no off day for you
How much i earn roughly monthly SGD 1.5k per month as a part time , my main job related to IT troubleshooting most of my boss main job client from gambling industry main job salary SGD 2.8k , every month just sent money back to Malaysia account just remember to declare this and that the money is safe
Since food and staying no longer a issue everything ahem boss provided once i free i either go collect money or back to my living place to check every client and outlets how much money lost and earn and report back to boss daily mostly using hand writing paper invoicing with their own code
During peak hour i do need helping topup or reload thing
Have to make sure every transactions accurate sometimes not even done anything wrong ahem boss still knnccb me,
My working hour usually from 10am until 5am after 5pm i do need prepare for soccer gambling and await full team arrived and watching all those live channels literally 8 TV at the rooms and using old school phone with headpiece attached key in the code and sent to pager and all of them will receive and if the score wrongly key in phone incoming the first thing you heard niama knnccb
The risky part you need to stay awareness all the time any vehicle following you and vehicle often there and so on, sometimes i do need carry SGD 10k or 30k to a specific place every 3 months my boss will arrange me a different vehicle to drive to reduce the suspicious
The job Only last for 3 year after one day i received a msg saying boss has been arrested i straight head back to johor since my important documents always with me there are nothing left in my living place just clothing so is not important then i drop the vehicle at public parking spot take the cab straight back to johor and back to KL without knowing what to do next
1 year later i do visit sg but nothing happened at sg custom properly I'm not a important role and try visit those sg friend who used to working together only knowing the boss fine 100k SGD 20 year jail
The Lucky part the ahem boss don't keep our confidential details name nric or photostat passport usually only phone number and nick name after few try visit SG and still nothing happened and I'm safe and clean
