Anyone have the solution to fix whatapps backup stuck?

I had
1) cleared whatapps cache.
2) update whatapps
3) update Google play service
4) delete backup of whatapps from Google drive to retry to rebackup.

can try to remove google acc from phone and restart back before relogin

Maybe clear up some space in your phone? Is it near full? 7.4GB is pretty big. Is your Google Account full also? I think now whatsapp backup counts towards your free Google account storage, if i am not wrong.

7.4GB is quite huge. Check your gmail if u really have that much space. After that try logoff and login with gmail.

Also ensure you have good uninterrupted broadband.

Go into Internal Storage -> com.Whatsapp -> Whatsapp -> Databases and delete all the msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt14 and leave only msgstore.db.crypt14 then do your backup.

maybe dont include videos in your backup
make the size smaller

keep the chats, not the media (if you really need them, back the media sumwer off)
the size is too big, maybe the compression taking much time to handle it
