nowadays, the way i stop them from trying to is to tell them that i have already signed up and is donating...

i believe they get commission for getting anyone to signup... like the one above mentioned, only part of your donation will go to the actual cause.

most of the agents are very proficient in english and seem to be a learned person. i once asked one of them, they said they get good commission for every sign up. easier and more profit than doing grab since you are in a mall with aircon. you donate rm10, probly 50% goes to these agents, 40% for the president annual luxury vacation, and probly 1% reached the sad refugee.

Unicef one is the most CB of them all that i encounter. Once they approached me and friend, mentioned how sad those refugee, no food, no place to stay etc. I said i am not interested, then he kinda guilt trip me by claiming that im heartless than i dont care bout those kids dying. then my macha friend yelled out, "fucuk off! go scam other ppl!"
