Don't make me laugh. I was light years ahead of crummy Apple back in 1985. Or anything else for that matter.

What? I thought Macintosh was released that year or around then. Macintosh was light years ahead of anything according to the literature.

You are too young to know the true history of computing I guess.

The AmigaOS was probably the first true multitasking OS for consumers.

Mac? They just stole Xerox UI and made it famous...like Apple does now...always stealing other people's tech. Even their screen unlock was stolen from Nokia

And in terms of Graphics and sound, nothing can come close to the Amiga then. The Mac was a joke by comparison.

You call it steal, Jobs calls it standing on the shoulder of giants biggrin.gif

If Amiga so superior, why did it disappear into history but mac and PC still around?

Being best seller doesn't always means you are the best. It's very shallow to perceive things by mere revenue figures.

Your own signature emphasizes that the c64 was the best selling computer of its time, so ironic that you say that.

If talking in revenue, Mac was almost much more expensive and sold fewer units than c64 or PC.
