I am trying to configure my TP Link Router with Maxis Allo

I have tried Dynamic IP - Not successful

Is there anything else need to be done?

I think VLAN may be needed, my Asus router has a few options for Maxis Fibre and Maxis - TNB/Allo is one of them

Sadly it doesnt tell me which VLAN ID it is though

Do Maxis Fibre uses PPPoE on Allo network or it is purely dynamic IP?

Depends on Infra. Some place it uses Dynamic IP and some place its PPPoE

Gonne be a mess for non-tech savvy users trying to replace their own router given that there are so many VLAN / connection mode combo these days.

Maxis - Maxis Infra (PPPOE)
Maxis - TM Infra (PPPOE)
Maxis - Allo Infra (PPPOE)
Maxis - Allo Infra (Dynamic)

I believe DiGi / Celcom is even more complex.

Just installed Maxis fibre with Allo.
It is using dynamic + vlan.
But i requested public IP and it switched me to PPPOE.

Maxis has always provided symmetrical speeds for the 30Mbps plan, 30down and up
I'm on Maxis own infra and I get similar speedtest results

realistically its 38down/up under actual load
