hi.. im having a big dilemma in choosing monitor for my gaming use. im stuck at either going for 1080p 240hz aoc g24g2z or going up to 1440p monitor. for 1440p, i may choose:

a) aoc q27g2s 155hz
b) msi optix g273qf 165hz
c) lg 27gp850-b (which is the most expensive 1 dat i could go)
d) ur recommendation smile.gif

main purpose will be for gaming in competitive titles like Valo n dota 2 and watching movies.

btw im now utilising da igpu of ryzen 5 5600g. im planning to get at least rtx 3060 ti after getting da monitor.

thanks for viewing n giving feedback biggrin.gif

i really want to.. but its like 'imma bite da bullet' thingy n it will further hold my gpu's buying.. hence da option of several cheaper alt.

but if it is damn worth it for long run, i might as well just suck it up n bite da goddamn bullet xD

Huawei do release 3 monitors in market but I will not getting.

https://consumer.huawei.com/my/monitors/mateview/ - this is pretty but not design for gaming, it is only 60hz with 3:2 aspect ratio.

https://consumer.huawei.com/my/monitors/mateview-gt/ - this is gaming monitor but the HDR is not meet the requirement and too little review to know is it good as VA panel got dark smearing issue and some is very bad. So far only Samsung Odyssey series manage to solve this issue (G7, Neo G9, Neo G8 and Neo G7)

https://consumer.huawei.com/my/monitors/display-23-8-inch/ - this is cheap monitor for normal office usage only

ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD.... you can get around RM800 (+30 to 40) most probably during 8.8 sales... with free shipping or cheap shipping (w. mal)...

Seems to be the cheapest IPS 1440p panel with average performance/quality.....

Go for LG no regrets...the screen is the one giving you the visual comfort. Don't be cheap...all my screens are LG from TV to monitors.

Go 2x LG IPS for the absolute wow factor.

Gigabyte M28U, Samsung Odyssey G7 LS28 ...

4k res mostly starts with 32".....

Many VA @60Hz/75Hz around RM1.2-1.3k

These in video are the 120Hz+ ones...
