I have seen rent increase by 40% in one shot, owner didn’t increase rent for 10 years….

Bro, during his “time”, across the sea JB also “boom”……my friend father bought few condo/apartment, 30 years later, property price either same or lower than his initial purchase. Rental fallen also, last time it was “decent” as Jap/Kor now no more or much less liao…

Sg is an exception, not a rule…

My sense is, for the last 10 years, easy money due to low interest rate (due to 2008 crisis and pandemic) plus China property boom has spill all over. Both of these has ceased somewhat, i would say in the next couple of years, price stagnant at best for most places.
