We can DIY our own with a tub of premium vanilla ice-cream and overnight-presoaked black raisins in rum.  Rum can be replaced by other  cheaper liquor made from fruits, eg brandy. .......

DIY is much cheaper than the RM38 per pint/473ml tub from Ice Cream Bar. In comparison, Tillamook Vanilla ice cream costs only RM30 per 1,420ml tub.

Cheap local rum is available at Lotus. Imported rum is 3X more expensive, ie >RM160 per 700ml bottle.

P S - I believe we can similarly DIY most alcoholic ice cream flavours, eg Chocolate Bailey.

I tried this... I dont feel bitter but it is really hard. Need to take out, let it melt a little, and use fork to eat. Spoon cant dig into it. Conlanfirm choc taste very gao... I just dislike it because I dont feel like eating ice cream. More like eating chocolate.
