What text editors allow vertical selection?
I can think of Microsoft Word, allowing you to select vertically by holding Alt key and highlight text using mouse. Another example of vertical selection in Visual Studio 2022 (a popular IDE for C++, C#, VB and Python):  Some others said Notepad2 also has this feature. Vertical selection can be useful in specific case. |
