I owned the 65U7H and before this in the past it is a Sony TV.
I was shopping for tv when the Sony went kaput, and have seen the Sony X90, X85 and x80 in the shops and I wouldn’t even consider the x80 at all after seeing all three, min is at least x85, but the price is the huge factor here.
So far I’m happy with my purchase on Hisense U7H. Yes the US model is abit different but there’s a lot reviews on similar models to ours or our local Malaysia model on YouTube
How would the Hisense U7H fare against the older Xiaomi Q1 75" 4K QLED VA panel? My concern is more on the black levels, colours and brightness/reflections as my tv will be put next to the window lol.
Nobody knows. Electronics fail regardless of brand. Some parts die faster than others obviously. Since none of us are time travelers from the future who happens to down a 65A6100H, you just have to roll the dice.
If you have the funds and still want a 65", the Toshiba M550LP can be had for RM3,200. Better specs overall than the A6100H.

i know M550LP has better spec; FALD, QLED, VA(arguably for malaysian spec), but does A6100H make the cut for the price tag? thank you.
What do you guys think of the picture quality especially black levels between the Toshiba M550LP vs TCL C635 series which has VA and QLED too? Both around the same price as well.
The specs sheet of the TCL C635 says it has micro dimming and no local dimming? Which is better... micro dimming or FALD?

most likely c635, havent buy yet cos just got new car so need allocate some money there lol. micro dimming is a gimmick, but based on reviews, it is bright enough so the HDR is still good enough compare like the toshiba m550lp, just tat it cant fight OLED miniLED or high FALD screen. if u can see 1 india review techinbeez something like tat can find at youtube, really bad the quality, because the screen is too dim for HDR, got local dimming also no use, the local dimming makes blooming so prominent. and i think M550LP uses IPS instead VA, not even written at their website, dont know why they don say anything.
Ya I saw the Toshiba review by techinbeez and the brightness is terrible.
I might be late to the party, but I have seen both TVs in store. In my opinion, the U7H surpasses Q1 in terms of visual aspects. The U7H boasts vivid colors, deep blacks, and motion fluidity(at least based on the high fps demo), leaving me super impressed. The Q1, on the other hand, did not make the same impact, except for its sheer size.

A bit surprised as the U7H is IPS vs the Q1 which is VA. Both are FALD.
Anyway, I'm hoping Hisense would bring the U8H with mini LED to Malaysia this year as TCL is bringing the mini LED version end of the year.
U7H in Harvey Norman IPC but way back when they opened big space in front of their shop. But recently I went, I can't find U7H anywhere, even in their store.

It looks good actually. Just wondering what do I lose out if I use my google chromecast with the TV as I rather run Google TV. Would HDR like Dolby Vision work normally with netflix, etc ?

Have been going through all the post in google and most review mention U7H is better than X85K. Anyone can confirm this?
1) The TCL C365 has brightness flickering/shifting issues with Dolby Vision on netflix (have yet to test DV on other sources) and the Google TV navigation is a bit slow. Also, TCL will be launching their mini LED series next month. 2) Which reviews on the Hisense U7H? A lot of them are the US version which is superior to what we are getting here in Msia 3) Pretty sure the Sony X85K will be better than the other 2 TVs with its software prowess - colour reproduction and superior backlight implementation even with lesser zones/etc
