U7H will beat X80K in every way lol. They are similar priced T 3.8k bracket but U7H has 120Hz, FALD and more.

And I have no confidence in SonyTV anymore since my previous SonyTV developed a horizontal line on the display after 4 years.

sure or not? if u see the u7h FALD implementation is so weak for asian market one. the sony triluminous color is so much better presentation lo. i dunno la, maybe need compare side by side but hard to find place got both together.

Low end? Mid range? High end?
*
Are you asking on the sony tv?
Mid range it cost 3k plus for the Sony tv.
Simple google search will bring you tons of people who experience the same thing, and since I’m out of warranty, repairs cost a lot .

I wanted to buy the x85 actually with the reviews of forumers here but decided otherwise cause of this experience.

I owned the 65U7H and before this in the past it is a Sony TV.

I was shopping for tv when the Sony went kaput, and have seen the Sony X90, X85 and x80 in the shops and I wouldn’t even consider the x80 at all after seeing all three, min is at least x85, but the price is the huge factor here.

So far I’m happy with my purchase on Hisense U7H. Yes the US model is abit different but there’s a lot reviews on similar models to ours or our local Malaysia model on YouTube

How would the Hisense U7H fare against the older Xiaomi Q1 75" 4K QLED VA panel? My concern is more on the black levels, colours and brightness/reflections as my tv will be put next to the window lol.

The Xiaomi Q1 can get around RM5k-ish

I don’t really know though, I would have considered that if I have a big living room, but 75 inch is way too huge for my condo unit

U7H in malaysia is not VA panel, contrast ratio would be low.

somehow you can't trust most of the toshiba/hisense tv reviews online. saw one from Thailand stating M550LP is better than U7H, end up their M550LP is using VA panel, the one in Malaysia is using IPS. at the same time, M550LP is being bashed in India's online review. they should have used different model names to avoid confusion.

couldn't decide and bought 65x85k myself last week for 3499.

Oh well, only willing to spend 3-4k for a TV. If that’s budget line then Hisense may be a better deal. X90 is midrange then?

I also bought a Hisense TV from them 2 years ago. Sometimes when they do online sales, it's really cheap without the need to grab voucher or bonus like on Lazada. Just bought a fridge from them on 11.11 as well.

What I like about them is they don't charge any shipping or installation fees. Their staffs are also good attitude. Now I always check and compare with onking whenever I want to buy appliances. Even though ppl kept telling me desa home is good (less than 1km away as well), I'm just too lazy to haggle price with them. I did though bought a X90J from them last 12.12 on lazada because it's really cheap after bonus and voucher.

Not funny how there's still some inequities in terms of products available for Malaysians in Sabah and Sarawak. Hope you can find a seller that order one for you.

On a related topic, the 65" U7H can be found on Shopee now for RM3,449.
