Looking to get new monitor if possible 32".

Mostly do web surfing, watch videos, some light gaming, some video editing (but not professional level).

2K resolution.

Don't care for G-sync or Freesync, 75Hz will be fine.

Budget around RM1200+

Thanks but its VA panel. Prefer IPS since according to this video it is the overall better.

The closest I can find was ViewSonic VX3276-2K-MHD, although I'm not very sure of the brand so its why I'm hoping anyone can suggest other brand.

The VX3276-2K-MHD is good too
Been using it for 3 years with zero issues and recently gave it to my wife for graphic design

I can personally recommend viewsonic VX3276-2K-MHD if you just want a 32 inch 2k IPS display. On shopee or lazada you can sometime find it below rm1k.

Thanks for the feedback. Still contemplating whether to go 32"with 2K or 34" 1080p ultrawide..

This ViewSonic VX3276-2K-M is a better monitor than 34" 1080p+ Ultrawide you ask in another thread. This one at least is 1440p which sharpen text and bigger workspace. Also it is 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) which manage to display 1.07B color instead of 16.9M color.

Even though this one don't have HDR but for spec with 250 cd/m² absolutely no point make it HDR support as it will look worst than SDR.

Don't. If you want to go ultrawide, you need to get something with at least 2K resolution

I'm still on the fence of getting ultrawide (1080p) or 32" (1440p).

Found this interesting chart as a reference. Gives a good indication if the extra width is worth it over size, height and resolution.

By the way, the monitor I want to buy is either from Lazada or Shopee since got more choice.

Can anyone recommend good seller? I don't want end up picking sellers from overseas or seller with bad service. Thank you.

Big brands... Acer/Viewsonic/Samsung/Lenovo/HP have local warranty that's independent from sellers...

perhaps not so much with Dell ... as there are many refurbish sellers.... Dell would be direct from them rather than shopee/lazada sellers...

Lenovo has both self-online and shopee/lazada options...

Mono Digital
They have the best after sales service

But for monitors, you don't actually have to go through the seller to RMA, just contact the respective manufacturer's helpline
Some of them even have onsite pickup (depending on your location)

There are many VA monitors at 4k 32" at your budget (or below) but these are mostly only up to 60Hz... 32"@2.5k there are a few too but more limited options

Example: Acer ET322QK 32" 4K...

I've seen the flaw of VA panel (black smudge) so I'm avoiding that. IPS all the way.
