Is there any recommended tyre vendors in Penang who are on lazada/shopee? Planning to purchase online using 0% installment and install in seller's workshop.
Normally tyre shop take credit card payment with additional 3% markup due to bank charge.

Thanks

Tell you really, you might think buying online can save on the tires.
But when u want to install, tire shop will charge higher in other way like balancing, workmanship & alignment.
Unless you got all the equipment's and can DIY than go for it, if not in the end also LPPL when you calculate overall cost.
Most Penang tire shop include all the balancing, workmanship & alignment cost into the tire cost thus you might felt expensive.
Ask the shop if they got include all these without any extra charges, if yes than it is worth paying it.

Thanks for your reply. Wonder if anyone here can recommend a good tyre shop in Penang with competitive price and okay service quality?

My ride is a 2014 Honda city running on 185/55/r16, any recommendation for decent tyre around rm240-270 each? Travel long distance on weekly basis, with around 10k mileage every 3-4 months.
Currently running on Goodyear ATM2, but feel that it is getting very noisy after 1 year (~40k km) of driving. Thread wear is about to hit the mark, thus getting ready to replace them soon.

Should I upgrade to 195/55/r16 instead of staying 185/55/r16? Ride is kinda bumpy in the rear Honda city (not sure about others, maybe it's my bad suspension) so don't wanna reduce the tyre profile.
