Thanks for the great thread OP. I recently purchased a BMW F30 LCI that has 225/50R17 tires. Is this the original size? I was looking at some F30 brochures online (please see attachment), and it seems like it could potentially be 225/55R17s. Secondly, aside from Primacy, can you recommend any other tires? Just wondering if there is a more wallet-friendly option if my priorities are handling>fuel economy>comfort. I don't drive this car outstation and seldom ferry more than 1 passenger. Thank you!
Between MC6 v RE0003, I am leaning towards RE004. Is that a good choice?

QUOTE(ktek @ Dec 11 2023, 06:24 PM) msia ckd uses 225-50-17 as mentioned Thank you. QUOTE(HalseyFrangipane @ Dec 11 2023, 09:11 PM) MC6 is more of a touring tyre, although marketed as UHP. RE004 is more performance-oriented. Sacrifices comfort for more grip. Both are good tyres. 1 is a slightly extreme performance tyre while the other is more of an all-rounder. I am going with MC6 in the end after going through OPs blog. It seems like MC6 is better “balanced” for a lack of better word.
