Bought a Lenovo ideapad laptop few days back from shopee "authorised" dealer, do i need to register my laptop for warranty coverage through Lenovo online site? The receipt provided from shopee is so generic like any other purchase.
Anyone experience with Lenovo Malaysia online registration please share your thoughts.

You can check ur serial number in lenovo and see if its new stock. You can also register there

I put the laptop serial number in lenovo website warranty check, it shows warranty started 6 months ago. WTF? but the laptop box seal with Lenovo security sticker, those once pealed will leave marks on the box surface. The unit looks new to me, I'm confused.

Warranty date: January 2022 (activated)

What am i getting here? Dealer register the unit once they get it in store? any idea?

You need to check with the seller to confirm

Is the warranty expiry date within the actual warranty date? I believe some manufacturer will activate the warranty upon shipment to retailer, but they give extra few months warranty.
