I am now subscribed to Maxis Family Plan Fibre 500Mbps, I got an extra SIM card with me, it is one of the number sim we use in a phone. Can I insert it into a 4G router to broadcast Wi-Fi to my home?
What I plan to get is TP-Link Deco X20-4G.

So what I want to ask is, is Maxis allow their SIM to do that? Can I access and broadcast Wi-Fi from the router? Will they block it?

1st, check is that a Maxis Family Plan 4G Backup or Maxis Family Member Plan sim.

4G Backup should put in the router provided by maxis - incase fiber down then home will switch to simcard (should be done by the installer),

if normal family member plan sim - yes can just use it in router. no issue. just that quota is "shareable" (with other sims) of 1TB.

yeap shouldn't be 4G backup, it's one of the plan.
So even it comes with free voice & sms, i still can put into 4G modem right? that's great! thanks for the respond.

Any advise you can give? is it good and workable to share wifi like this? recommended? or any better ideas?

Does this also work if using a current normal Hotlink prepaid FAST sim, in a mifi or 4g simcard router?

once inserted the simcard in the mifi or 4g router, it will autoactivate the data, until run out of prepaid data?
