Quick question regarding 3080 TI.

Is Zotac RTX 3080 TI good? Saw there is a lot of bundle offer for this model under Zotac 4999 with a 24" monitor. And other brands reached 6000+ for the TI model.

Any idea why? Or is this model problematic? icon_question.gif

Eventhough it's a cryptorized unit, shouldn't be a big deal if can confirm it's properly ventilated.

I want to know as well.

Shouldn't be a "crypto unit" since these cards are being sold brand new by retailers.

It seems like the ZOTAC RTX 3080 Ti Trinity OC is going for RM4,999 and they're bundling a free Samsung Odyssey G3 24" display to go with it.

Looks like one hell of a good deal, but this is also the cheapest 3080 Ti card you can get. Are there any issues with this card in general?

It's legit as they're the cheapest 3080 Tis around. Trinity OC cards are going for 1k USD on Amazon right now.

Beware of used crypto mining cards, personally, i would stay away from them unless really cheap like RM500.

Rule of thumb is to always get a brand new. Less headache and you have one year warranty.

Don't think worth paying RM4k for 3000 series card now. Just wait for the 4000 series.

RTX 4070 will be faster, cheaper, and draws less power than RTX3090 Ti. This level of performance also means it will handily beat a 3080 Ti in the same metrics.

i think the power usage of next gen card is ridiculous....i don't want to go back to the days of Lowyat people trying to sell you 1000W PSU.

Power consumption is critical for me. Which is why i like consoles so much. I hope next gen consoles don't go crazy as this gen console is also getting too big and ridiculous.

Hopefully there will be a major break through in power consumption/heat/die size in the next few years and reduce the power usage while maintaining a reasonable performance improvement.

Yeah, thanks to the power demand, I purchased a 1000W PSU sweat.gif
