But so far Nunez still doesn't proven anything to me, his overall performance. Not a single one is impressive. Yes I know this is just the pre-season, and he just joined the team not long ago. Really hoping he is not just a fluke, but really able to gel with the team asap and scoring for fun.
On the other hand, Fabio Carvalho already showing a glimpse of his potential. His future is bright as long as he remain injury free.

Klopp is using taa as inverted fullback, when in possession taa will step into midfield. I think it's good as taa will then be able to utilise his good passing and distribution from there.

Another plus as an inverted fullback, taa can counter press alongside fabinho when possession is lost in midfield, rather than being caught upfield and tracking back, which had been exploited numerous times by opponent. To overload the midfield and gain back possession immediately.

This is a tactic that man city is employing now, that kept kyle walker out of the squad.

Edit: Man city Rodri is not a defensive midfielder with pace as well, same as fabinho.
