Apparently his job title is HEAD COACH, not Manager like Klopp before him. This mean his involvement in day to day running of the club will be limited compared with Klopp. He will probably be only handling first team day to day. Klopp job scope were bigger. He also involved in planning and designing our current training centre in Kirkby.

I think only time will tell. If Arne perform, he might get more things. I think this is the modern way of football. To be fair, klopp also do not have power to bring in the players he want. Our recruitment policy is data driven and based on the type of players klopp want. Then the team will search for players which match the criteria and purchase it.

From my understanding, only a few players that klopp sign is those that he really wanted. The rest is data driven recommendations from the team.

Main data they consider: bring out the best from the players and overperform as a team with limited budget. For example, go toe to toe with bigger and richer team: klopp with dortmund vs bayern, slot with az vs ajax. And klopp prove this again with us vs city.

This is their number 1 criteria. The rest like playing style, communication and etc is just a bonus.
