Hi Guys,

I will be making an outstation trip for seven days in the coming weeks.

I managed to find a few trusty ones, but mostly are luxury cars / MPVs.

Is there any trusted budget / hatchback car rental to recommend for seven days?

Edit: Location at KL

Update: Rented a car from Trevo, the process is pretty seamless.
There is also other apps such as Moovby, socar, gocar etc, hope it helps.

I Googled and saw some local small rental companies but not sure how they are from the review.

Any ideas what to check before renting? Thanks.

no actually
they don't have rating system
u can only rely on maybe google review and just go for it

if it's a bad experience, just write about it so others can avoid and u will never go again

Went to ipoh last week, took ETS and Rented car via Trevo, App was easy to use and got pickup and dropoff of your choice.
