Hi all, recently I msg a property agent to view house. She said only can show me a video to virtual view the house because her company not allowed ppl to walk into the house to view it anymore, due to pandemic.

Just wondering right now still got ppl not allow to view the house because of the pandemic?

The company means which, real estate agency or developer? View the house means what, view the actual house as in subsale or show unit by developer?

Now is endemic, almost everything back to normal. I not sure if any developer would be still stingy and weird not to allowed visitors to view the show unit, otherwise, I not sure why they build the show unit for. Otherwise, they may not have any show unit at all.

If subsales, the agent has to follow what her client's requirement because the owner himself has own schedule or the viewing might be disturbing if the house is tenanted.

If I am owner and selling the house I am staying, I personally would be pissed off if too many viewings but none of it serious. So, the agents can show photos (few years back) to buyer and filtered the needs, now is even better if with virtual view. If serious, go one round before place booking.

You must show her your cash cheque first
then the pandemic ends on the next day.

It has been liddat for a while since MCO cos every1 sked of covid.

Even til now some tenants stil disallowed viewing even thou omicron is not gonna cos high fatality.

The concern is if kena liao maybe ll mess up their routine or work. Further to tat u know I know many view for song wan. Some serious seasoned investors actually won't view or just glance thru nia.

I oso came across my new tenants told me to wait til 11th mth to view n he ll leave instead of fulfilling 3yrs tenure. So it's a threat to owner too if die die wanna force thru

Anw I'm not sure if TS is requesting to view an own use unit or tenanted unit so hard to justify too.

You can ask,
If after see the video and interested,
Can go visit the house physically or not….
If still can’t, better call off as you never know the house got what problem not show in the video…,

worry that you go there, see a lot of banners and call other agent.

I once ask about layout for some 3k sqft unit face to face but the agent just keep dismissing it and show me only 1k sqft.

I'd pull out if I were you..
it's weird for me to know that you've said your interest and the place is still "closed" for you..
if you've said you're alright with the price (I assume you are already) and interested in the unit, then a physical showing should be justified..
even if it's not a scam, having a landlord that strict is still a yellow flag for me, at least personally..

To request for actual tour after viewing video is to show agent n owner u r genuinely interested in tat unit.

No booking fee should be involved as it's not a purchase request yet.

I suggest u to tell agent to make it happen or just skip. But of cos if the booking can b done via cheque without them clearing the payment then u can cincai draw a tortoise lo.

There are over 1 million units of residence in kv. If die die insisted on that unit, then need to pay water fish price lor.

but how come i got a totally different treatment? the agent insist to show me the house face to face, refuse to show video , photo & disclose the street of the house.


i think is because of the unit you want to view is too laku, if you finding those "no body want" property like me, the agent will layan you better.
