so many brands out there.. repsol, rk, yamalube, stp etc.. hmm.gif

which one is more reliable and cost effective for standard non-oring chain, given i cuci bike myself and lube once every 1-3 months?

any inputs much appreciated

non o-ring u can just use engine oil.

most chain manufacturers recommend 80w90 gear oil (yes, the one for car's gearboxes) to lube the chain.. even for o-ring based chains.

I got both, 1 is small bottle white color wan. If spray properly won't kena the rim wan.

Visbella chain lube or something, blue color with white cap 1 , big bottle and cheap, put some news paper at the rim when spraying so won't overspray.

I do it once every month when I wash my bike. Or 1k km whichever comes first.

If you use z/x/o ring it wouldn't matter that much unless you run your bike in dirt or something.

Legend says gear oil (80w-90) applied thinly on the inside of the chain provides better rust protection, less fling, and less grime retention and provide just as good lubrication.

Most important is its cheaply accessible.

Chain is consumable part. Stop worry so much about lube to prolong chain lif. Instead lube enough so the chain wont be too dry and snap too much horsepower
