i saw the thread and interested so i sms dis person to deal.This seller confirm to cod his laptop for rm1,380 at mamak shop near ktm serdang at 8.30pm .Just about 8pm like dat he sms me sayin dat sm1 already offer rm1,400 so he wish to cancel d deal!!! vmad.gif
but yet i told him dat since we alredi seal a deal..if money is wat he want thn i'm ready to pay him rm1,400...but yet he say dis n dat thn finally he already sold d laptop!!! vmad.gif

This is my very first FFK case. It's people like this guy who makes me think twice about buying stuffs online.

I saw his thread to sell of a Toneport GX, and I was VERY interested on this product and needed it. I was more than willing to travel to Puchong from Nilai, but was unsure so I asked him how to get there and he told me he was willing to deal at Serdang. Very well, I skipped group study to draw money from my account(I got frowned like mad), took a bus, and when I wanted to get back to college, I waited for god-knows-how-many- hours just to find out that there was no more bus. Never mind, I took a taxi and and paid the super expensive fare. I thought, oh well, at least I'm getting it cheap! I reached home, checked my PM and he told me " Sorry bro, item has been reserved for viewing tonite. ". What the hell? Nicely arranged to meet at Serdang but he didn't keep the item for me. He just gave me this excuse, "It's 1st come 1st serve deal.Sorry and thanks". Don't you have any etiquette? If he would tell me first come first serve, I would skip class and just go to Puchong. Although it could be 'only RM100' case to him, my effort to draw the cash out was tiring. I was extremely pissed when I received that reply especially when I had to go through all that nonsense just to pay him. Please beware of product availability when you deal with him, he won't be bothered to reserve for you if there's another buyer who's gonna come earlier than you although you asked first.

FYI,Ganu00, if you thought I was gonna FFK, I wouldn't. Ask anybody who sold things to me, when I begin to ask about where to deal or a/c number, that means I'm getting it. Sometimes, I feel we should have a 'Safe Buyer' tag too.

Seller already made it clear to bank in a deposit to secure the deal. Buyer didn't want to do that. So seller have the rights to sell it to another "more serious" buyer. I see no problem with that.

Where's the funny face icon?

Ya I always ask buyer to make some deposit to seal the deal... Some are very reluctant, so I guess they are not serious enough... For me, deposit = contract to buy & avoid FFK, at least that is for me... So far, no problem for me facing FFK issue coz if buyer FFK me, bye bye to his/her deposit.... That make them think twice b4 "senang-senang" FFK you, honestly with the deposit in seller hand, even they need to "crawl" they will arrived when the place/venue for deal has been agreed icon_rolleyes.gif

today agreed price rm2.1k agree cod tmr ( i alrdy arrange transport), i paid rm50 deposit, then recv sms from seller saying gf dont let him sell. is this gf or seller pc now? if the indian guy bought yest then seller will be in deep shit today?

he offer to return the deposit, but i request create thread here for dispute tag first.

FYI: Bubu is a shared account between seller and gf

PM deal with him. Confirm COD at ex-warnet OUG (beside Pearl Point). Reached Warnet at 4pm, called him.

1st call 4pm - Call to inform him I reached. He acknowledged, claim he is on the way coming, give him 5mins.

Have been calling him from 4.30pm to 5pm. Went into voicemail. Called more than 20times. He do not know what is responsibility. Since he knew I reached, he has no guts to sms/call me to inform me to cancel the deal, whereby he choose to switch off his phone.

So today morning i wake up early to wait the COD news, when wake up on 6am open lowyat forum see his thread write ITEM SOLD...Genyo offer RM1150. So i just sms wait reply from him bcau too early morning so i did not call him. Wait n wait until 10am my friend say that got that guy another phone bcau keep calling but cant get, so i tell him i try contact him see how. So my friend just wait my news. I sms him n call him also no reply. Until 10.30am i inform my friend no ned deal with this guy alrdy, bcau he sure sold out to other guy without inform us.

hi guys, i would like to know if the below can be considered ffk.

i was supposed to meet a fellow lyn forummer, stormfury@william, last weekend to cod for some books i had enquired from him. as he'd already informed me much earlier via pm that he was taking the weekend off from work, we've agreed to meet in sri petaling on the said date (although i was to re-confirm the location/time with him on friday, to which i did). anyway, up til now, he has yet to respond to my pm nor has he returned my calls.

it's not that i'm trying to make a mountain out of a molehill here, it's just that a simple pm/sms/phone call to inform me that you won't be able to make it would have sufficed.



p.s. i just noticed that he hasn't been online since last thursday. here's hoping that he's alright unsure.gif

This fella offered N95 8GB a few days ago here. I think he offered iphone 3g as well... Back to the N95, he said he had a few sets there in Malacca and willing to go to Mid Valley and KLCC to do COD. So I got his number after he PM-ed me. Told me to confirm 1st so I confirmed the next day. He replied that he'll be meeting up with a few buyers on Saturday at MV so he would tell me the time and location and confirmed my order... The next day, he sms-ed me that all his N95 8GB had been sold. Called him but didn't pick up his phone. I'm so pissed!

Today got FFK by our un-dear LYN forumer : JerseyBuyer

He PM me saying that he is interested to buy my Nokia N81 8GB then we agree to meet on 28th of February at Sunway Pyramid at 5. But then I keep calling him from 5 to around 7 non-stop + tons of sms still no reply. Around 7 i call one more time and he say he is on his way and in 30minute time he will arrive. But 30min has past and he haven't arrive. I keep on calling and sms-ing him till 8.30 when I'm just too lazy to wait and left. Total waited for him for 3 hour 30 min.. I even ask him, if he is not interested or what is happening he did not bother to reply..at least let me noe the condition~

Not only that, because we have agreed to deal today..i agree with another LYN forumer to buy his Nokia 5800 then he was waitin for me to call him *really sorry bro icon_question.gif * Such irresponsible people should not deal at LYN. Everyone beware~ dont deal with him~

they can make thousand to cancel the deal~~jus no 1 buyer buy things from me~~,the item originally i sold at RM130, but ppl say too xpensive~so i drop to RM100,so the guy pm me and ask~~when everything set, i gv him my bank acc lo~~then i edit my thread add a "SOLD OUT" there lo~~then i put the price back to RM130 lo,jus in case the buyer cant make it i still can sell it at my original price to others~

then the next day the guy pm me say "i'm playing harga" =.=so he wan to cancel the deal==" , i explain to him tat wat the price tat i gv u yesterday is remain unchanged~~he jus blablabla~~
waste my time lo~~i oso dun wan to explain many lo~, i dunno y they think thr price change will affect them lo~~wat price tat reserve to them sure same one~~will nt change edi~~tats y they can make many many reason to cancel deal~~

Sms that he want to COD with me for E71 yesterday night at Desa McD.
He says that he stays nearby that area only so when I reach there only give him a call.

Before I go out, I gave him a call saying I'm going out ad. He say ok ok, his house very near, when reach give him a call he can reach in about 10 mins time.

So, after 10 mins I ad reach Desa McD cos my house is quite near to there also.
Sms him, he say ' ok, bro 10 min'. So me n my bf just wait in the car.

Then, we sms him again.. No reply

Call him, he answer ' on d way, at traffic light now.. Wait a while ya'

I have a serious liar and FFK buyer which name HoNeYdEwBoY.

1st of all this guy is often lurking around at Hobbies, Collectibles and Model Kits for quite sometime and recently he beg me to help him tumpang (borrow slot for shipping) some item in my shipping. Well due to I already know this guy going to NS at 19 march...

so I ask him to pay me beforehand last 2 months ago. But he said his salary will be out at around 25th jan so ask me to pay 1st since my parcel shipping is already going to ship out and his request item just cost not over rm 100 so i can take that chances for the sake of friendship.

ok at times fast when reach 19 jan i remind him to pay up the stuff as his 1st excuse is he do not have enough $$ for that particular month so will give me at 25th Feb. and since my parcel item that shipped haven't arrive yet so i won't ask much about.

then time pass reach 25th where the item already reach my hand i ask him again at msn reminded him again to pay up the item he order as well going to deliver the item to him but he reply and said another excuse where his salary delay to 3rd of march and promise to pay me.

but then again he never pay at 3rd march and still he said the same reason that his salary was delay to 16 or 17 march which I already lost faith in him and ask him to pay me quickly as i would end up reporting him. So he said he promise will pay up at that time.
