No American corporation saw fit to invest in developing infra for Iraqis. They only care about pure short term profits.

China through its state controlled firms did so. Iraqis will grow up to appreciate China and are more likely to side with China against US.

China's motives cant be pure, but if Iraqis wanna take from China, it's their right.
