For the past year or so, I've noticed that Eveready batteries don't last as long as they used to.

Anyone else has the same experience?

Since when do they even last?

They were never long lasting to begin with

Buy rechargeable ikea ladda batteries...it is worth it

They are what the supermarkets I go to have on display. So, that's what I picked, for convenience.

But it so happens that I've just got some DIY batteries. Let see how that goes.

Non-rechargeable batteries are 1.5 volt.

Re-chargeable batteries are 1.2 volt.

Not all devices can run on rechargeable batteries.

Protips: Heavier batteries usually last longer.

The red eveready is the worst. So light like nothing inside.

Yes, the voltage is a problem.

If you google, some would say it's not a problem because the "power delivery" is the same regardless of voltage.

In practice, some devices work with rechargeable, and some just don't.
