Want to ask about the house rules stated in certain clause "The deposit shall only be refunded upon full inspection by the Management."

Ok, understand that they will carry on with the inspection and refund the deposit after.

Question, the management mention by mouth and also email stating that the inspection is to be carried out and required with some photo shots of all works applied to put in individual files as record purposes.

Firstly, the management didn't mention about this before and during renovation.
Secondly, I did told them I don't feel safe about the photo taking, might misuse/leak out. Also with regards privacy.

What should I do? Should I comply? Is this necessary?

If it’s not stated in house rule then u have every right to reject the photo taking part else no choice but to comply. To bring up as one of the resolution in the next AGM for every to consider and vote on.
