Flat rate is based on a fixed interest a year, effective is the real amount of interest you pay against the cash undertaken.

The flat is applied as said.. flat across your grand total regardless of how much u have settled, your final month, your fee is also same flat rate (but the ratio of principal to interest settlement will vary la).
