Hi,
Lately, quite a lot of Budget/Small Brand in the market like BLW, A&K, Tecno, Takla, Amari...
Some are quite surprised for it came with Truss Rod and "Not Bad Preamp/EQ".

What's your Best Recommendations for Acoustic & Electric Guitar (the "Brand" & Model)?

Haven't look, but dont think theres a reseller locally.

HB is a house brand of Thomann, you can get them through their web shop.

Otherwise Cort, Yamaha and Ibanez are pretty solid budget choices, just dont buy one with floyd bridge.

Thanks for suggesting & advices!
Most Budget Electric Guitar made with Basswood, that's heavy. Right?
And for Acoustic Guitar, Spruce Wood, seems sound too bright, correct?

Aiyaya... Really not that case? My bad 😅 so sorry!
There are a ton of Budget Good vs Cheap Guitar in the market as we knew. In fact, budget Guitars are far difficult to pick compare to High Price Guitars, for Higher Price Guitars will never used bad or low end materials.

So, how to pick the best guitar from the budget Guitars might need some experience like you 😁

I didn't set any budget, but around RM200 - RM400 (without preamp on board). If with preamp, perhaps RM300 - RM500. In fact , some Preamp not bad, but as I know, 1 of the modal I really don't like — sound like strumming the Steel String 🤦 (I'll try to attach the picture)

Brands... I think (as I have listened to some demo) A&K, Takla, BLW, Amari, even Techno also acceptable 😜

personally, best budget guitar is to go to FB marketplace, jamtank, carousell, whatever and just patiently scroll through all the listings and just wait it out for someone to sell their gem at a low low price.

it's how i got a couple of my guitars and watches.

ah.. i would say save your money and go for a real guitar brand.

Just get a Yamaha F310 under RM400. Or go to The Guitar Store Cheras and try those acoustic all you want. Or any good reputable stores with good acoustic range.

Dont buy toys that you will regret later la

i use ibanez rg.

sounds great on nice amps and pedals, intonation is ok, nut is good, stays in tune if tune up.

just need to hardtail the tremolo and everything will be fine. no regret buying it, but if can afford better guitars, better buy the better one. Else, i believe the ibanez rg is very decent for poor people who will never buy a second guitar for the rest of his life

Thanks for your advice! Unfortunately, I'm not happy with F310 and bad experience with TGS 🤣🤣🤣

i bought my acoustic many years from their Cheras branch.. not bad, i got to try many models until i found something fit my budget. Still using to this day, a Farida Parlor

i guess the experience is totally depend on whos on duty that day hahaha. But my point is to find a store with good selection and try as many as you can.
