Look for wifi IP camera using Camhi app, they can tapao your Tapo or Xiaomi any time in terms of picture quality. Make sure it's either Sony IMX335 CMOS sensor for 5Mp or IMX415 for 4k.

I am also looking at one set.

image quality mostly are ok and ok liao.
criteria is cloud storage ( no need cat6, no need central hard drive)
motion detection.

thinking Xiaomi system- as more stable and wont phase out so quick ba. one thing though, as this is using battery, worry battery drain and need regular charging. - now say 1 year la.

Used tplink tapo (c200) before this.
But the customer service, after sales or forum is not helpful.
Cam not working after firmware updates.. dont know what happen.
Also can't be force reflash back... Its brick already..

If for serious security not recommended, this type of battery camera only wake up and record when the PIR detected motion to conserve battery. You will have many missed recordings because there is no 7/24 recordings or event pre record options like conventional cctv. Not too sure about Xiaomi but you better check with seller first about this.

Is your reolink camera outdoor or indoor? Seems firmware update solved the night time ghosting image?

Actually, I have second opinion on Tapo. An associate share 2 tapo cam recently install in one F&B outlet, model C210, was not bad at all for only RM160. And I was in Lowyat Viewnet today the sales mentioned that the 4Mp Ezviz(HIK) is even better. Maybe you can look it up.
