My boss wanted to invest in a Logistic software that can help us keep track our containers inbound and outbound to minimize demurrage, overall freight cost, reporting and as well as database for HS Code. Although the volume is not that much, we still can manage with Excel, but is there any suitable software or vendor? Thanks.

Can look for ERP/SAP vendor, but the customization is not cheap.

SAP itself not cheap. Unless the company is churning enough profit cover cost. usage wise, SAP is a better choice

There must be software vendor specializing in logistics in Malaysia, because many years ago, I attended a job interview hiring software developer for logistics system. But I told the interviewer, I was only versed in P.O.S, he didn't hired me eventually.
