 Own stay near Sunway or Subang, Moving up from Johor

Hi, can anyone advise which project in Sunway or Subang is good for own stay (not for investment)? As in not so crowded and better facilities? I plan to move to Sunway area with my family and currently looking for a suitable unit to buy. But don't have millions to spend la... budget around 1mil only. Please advise. Thank you.

you looking for high rise right?
my personal choice would be Subang- less crowded.

you may consider SJCC- a few condo there- which is near Empire.
or Tropicana metropark-


Sunway always give me the super crowded impression.

but i always felt privacy invaded... with the few office towers overlooking my house.
also field ingress and egress pretty limited.

other than that, Subang landed houses very aged.
Aurora is a good choice

some of them have gated and guarded too right?

well if die die want highrise, a'marine have some pretty good deals. decent size, below 1mil and very low density.

Absolutely, price of high-rise properties around Subang Jaya (new projects) you can get subsale landed properties (typically in USJ) for similar price but double the floor space!

However, the choice is with the buyers.

Thank you for all the replies. Will look at the few suggestions given. I actually prefer condo than landed as I always have the impression that neighbor's cars will park very near to my gate if terrace house.

I forgot to mention a very important criteria... The property must be walking distance to public transport. Prefer to travel by mrt or lrt.. Will look see look see first... Thanks again.

Thank you for the suggestion. While surveying aurora, I saw some units at isola for sale. Are you familiar with that area? Although it is a bit old but it is nearer to empire mall and lrt station. Can advise?

I am also looking at subang/Sunway area. For me i prefer landed but seems like most of those usj/SS landed are quite old and require huge renovations of around RM 150k? Or it can be done at a lower cost?

You can get one done for less than that (depending on what you wanted to do) provided you buy one where the kitchen is already extended into the backyard and you do not have to spend on any construction work.

Rather, the cost will be mainly on some tiling, furnishing, electrical, repainting.

Isola and aurora is just literally next to each other, aurora is next to the road though, but it is still constructing which means much newer. So if you say the distance between these 2 condos and the said facilities, only a few steps further.

Isola VP like 3-4 years ago?
Occupancy was low and I doubt the place is properly maintained. Would really give Aurora a check- it should be better.
