Anyone trading the Mini FTSE Bursa Malaysia Mid 70 Index Futures (FM70) can share their experience if this futures product moves similar to the main KL composite index futures? The entry seems to be very low and i'm interested to know how much of correlation it has when it moves when compare to KLCI? I'm interested but like to know its liquidity of getting in and out of the product and its spread.

Imagine it won't be like how MES trades like the ES.

When i compare the charts to the composite, looks like really lack of volume.

sorry to inform you but BMDB tried to revive FM70 last year but it died due to no traffic after a couple of months

when they revamped, the first few months already dismal, then you can see volume plunge 90% after that

if really want to try, go for FKLI.
but very volatile and only suitable for day trade.
keep overnight is kind of difficult but can also. Kena burn is your money.

get a trading firm which give u low commission rate to save costs

I see a lot of bank offering futures trading like RHB and have their own proprietary platform. Any idea which broker provide trading with Sierra platform? And any brokers in Msia that is not based on bank? I only know Philip Capital. Any others? i don't think any day trader wants to hold overnight position. I think i will give FKLI a try. Is there like a mini/micro futures product to the FKLI such as the MES to the MES?

Thanks.

Philip capital platform is kind of “basic”. but so far it is cheapest commission I can get.

second cheapest one is am futures. their platform is much better than Philip capital. CIMB future are super duper expensive….

In between, I don’t have all the info you ask above….

set a system stop loss point when entering a trade to protect your capital….

nope. FM70 ver 1.0 used to be the "mini" version. FBM Mid 70 multiplied by MYR 2.00 so by yesterday's pricing of 12,614, is RM25,228.

no volume so they revamped into 2.0 (multiplied by RM4) so institutional players will play it, also failed

You mean AMP futures or AM bank? but if you're talking about AMP futures, they don't have FKLI as futures product. In fact they don't have any Malaysian futures products. I'm currently with them trading ES.

Yeah, i can't rely on basic platform, my strategy relies on using order flow with volume profile.

Sad story. Msia not many retail traders.

In that case, i might consider trading the MSI instead. Thought to give some support for Msia, but really no volume...

Hi ,

How is your experience trading MES / ES? It is so hard to look for MES trader around. I also trade using Ampfutures

ES is good, very liquid. never have issue getting filled. When i trade MES, i based by charting off ES.
