Hi Guys,

First time replacing a light bulb.
Seems to be easy BUT removing/opening the cover or casing is the difficult task. biggrin.gif
How can I open this light "casing" or "cover"?
It has this small curved metal sticking out but pulling seems to not to do anything.
I'm afraid to force it because it might break or have obvious dent. (only renting).

Hope you all can refer to the pics I attached.

Shell cover, take out by using flathead screen driver. Then pull out the CFL (compact flourescent) PLC bulb....

Ah so I wedge the flathead screwdriver along the spaces? I tried that but it seems to bend the metal around. Scared to damage. biggrin.gif
Is that the only way? Just force it?

you mean the cover only right? I'm trying to pull it. won't budge. But i'm not applying much force.
Will it come out eventually by pulling by force? it won't get damaged?
